We Hear This Every Week
If any of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.
“I've been putting off my Pap smear for two years because I keep forgetting — or avoiding it.”
You know you should go. But between work, family, and everything else, it keeps slipping. A clinic that makes it easy to book, provides a calm environment, and gets it done properly removes every reason to keep delaying.
“My periods have changed and I don't know if it's normal or something I should worry about.”
Heavier, more irregular, more painful — or simply different to how they used to be. Changes in your cycle often mean something is shifting hormonally. We can do hormonal blood tests in-clinic and arrange for an ultrasound to evaluate further — without the need to see a specialist first.
“I think I might be in perimenopause and I don't know where to start.”
Broken sleep, mood swings, brain fog, and changes you cannot quite put a finger on. Perimenopause is one of the most under-discussed transitions in women's health. You deserve a doctor who can explain it clearly, assess you properly, and give you real options.
What Good Women's Health Care Looks Like
A consultation where you can say what you actually came to say.
We make time for the concerns you have been postponing, the questions you were not sure how to raise, and the symptoms you assumed were just "normal."
No judgment. No rush. You leave with answers — and a plan.
Women's Health at Every Life Stage — What We Manage in Singapore
Women's health needs change across the life course — from menstrual health and contraception in the twenties and thirties, to perimenopause and preventive care in the forties and fifties, and beyond. A family physician is often the most appropriate first point of contact for the majority of these concerns — providing comprehensive, continuous care without the wait times or costs of specialist-only pathways.
"Many women are surprised to find out how much we can help. They come in not expecting much — and leave with answers, a plan, and the relief that their symptoms and concerns are being properly addressed."

9 Women's Health Services at Angsana Medical, Singapore
We begin with a thorough, confidential history — giving you the space to share what has brought you in, without feeling rushed or judged.
Cervical cancer is largely preventable with regular screening. In line with Singapore Ministry of Health guidelines, we perform Pap smears and HPV co-testing for women aged 25 and above. An HPV self-testing option is available for women who prefer this approach. Abnormal results are managed with clear follow-up planning and specialist referral where indicated.
- Pap smear · HPV co-testing · HPV self-test
- Follow-up management · Colposcopy referral where needed
Heavy, irregular, or painful periods are not something to simply endure. We assess the underlying cause — whether hormonal, structural, or related to conditions such as PCOS or endometriosis — and develop an appropriate management plan. Period delay pills are available for travel or events.
- Irregular, heavy or painful periods · PCOS · PMS / PMDD
- Period delay · Hormonal evaluation · Lifestyle counselling
Hot flushes, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, and vaginal dryness are common features of perimenopause and menopause — and are highly treatable. We provide comprehensive assessment, lifestyle guidance, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) where clinically appropriate, with individualised risk-benefit discussion.
- Perimenopause symptom management · Menopause assessment
- Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) · Bone health · Cardiovascular risk
We counsel on all contraceptive options and prescribe combined oral contraceptive pills (COCPs) and progestogen-only pills. IUD referral is available. For women planning pregnancy, fertility screening and pre-conception optimisation — including folic acid and lifestyle review — are available.
- COCP · Progestogen-only pill · IUD referral
- Emergency contraception (Postinor & ellaOne) · Pre-conception counselling
We conduct breast symptom assessment, provide breast self-examination guidance, and coordinate mammography and ultrasound imaging referrals. Women concerned about a lump, nipple discharge, or breast changes are assessed clinically and referred appropriately.
- Breast symptom assessment · Breast self-examination guidance
- Mammography & ultrasound referral · Specialist referral where indicated
Sexual health concerns including STI screening, vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis, thrush, trichomoniasis), UTIs, and libido concerns are managed with full confidentiality. We create a space where these conversations can happen without judgment or discomfort.
- STI screening · Vaginal infections · UTI treatment
- Libido concerns · Emergency contraception · Confidential consultations
We provide early pregnancy confirmation, antenatal counselling, and obstetrician referral. Postpartum care includes physical recovery checks, breastfeeding guidance, and postpartum mood assessment. Postpartum depression and anxiety are common and treatable — we screen for these at postnatal visits and manage them in-house or with referral.
- Early pregnancy confirmation · OB referral
- Postpartum recovery · Breastfeeding support · Postpartum mood assessment
Osteoporosis and urinary incontinence are two of the most common — and most under-discussed — health concerns in older women. Osteoporosis assessment includes risk stratification, DEXA scan referral, calcium and vitamin D optimisation, and bone-protective medication where indicated. Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, or mixed) is assessed clinically with appropriate management including pelvic floor guidance, lifestyle modification, medications, and specialist referral where needed.
- Osteoporosis · DEXA referral · Bone-protective medications
- Stress, urge & mixed urinary incontinence · Pelvic floor guidance
Stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and hormonal mood changes are common in women at every life stage — and often go unaddressed. We manage these conditions directly, with in-house counselling available through our registered counsellor, and in-house dietetics through our registered dietitian for nutrition-related wellbeing concerns.
- Anxiety · Depression · Burnout · Insomnia
- In-house counselling · Dietetics · Hormone-related mood changes
